Instrumentation for 5-horn charts is usually 2 Trumpets, 2 Tenors (or Tenor and Alto), and Baritone Sax. Arrangements include individual horn parts (see sample), lyric sheet, and rhythm section part with chords, kicks, and significant licks. First Tenor parts can easily be transposed to Alto parts, and 2nd Tenor parts can be easily transposed to Trombone parts. Note also that I've recently added several instrumental charts; that is, a horn takes the place of the vocal.
Instrumentation for 4-horn charts varies, though it’s most commonly 2 Trumpets, Tenor or Alto Sax, and Trombone; these can easily be rearranged for other combinations. Some are written so the fourth part is optional (indicated with *). Nearly all arrangements include individual horn parts, a lyric sheet, and a rhythm section chart.
Nearly all charts are produced on Finale software, and can be readily transposed. MP3 excerpts of nearly all tunes are available on request.
