Tina and our friend, Tom Struwve, had started a band called TT &
the Rest. We played jazz and rhythm & blues. It was a good band
that lasted about three years.
The picture shows us in our living room
in front of the band's huge speakers, supposedly picking parts off
a recording to play in the band. Tina is mimicking the parts, and
Roger's writing down the notes.
We mistakenly took this photo on slide
film and had prints made from the slides. That's why the photo looks
so fuzzy -- it lost a generation in the transfer. You can't even
really tell that those big black things are speakers. Taking slide
originals was a mistake we'd never make again. |
