We were
both in the Marching Band in the fall of 1982, and had this photo
taken on the field of the Metrodome right before a football game,
as you can see.
The pose was one Roger dreamed up, thinking
it was from some famous statue (but he couldn't remember what it
was). Years later, he discovered it was a pose on some little sculpture
his grandparents had, and not something well-known.
This was Tina's first curly perm.
We
can't remember who took the photo for us. Maybe it was Jeff, "Jiffy"
Neilsen, the band's photographer. Thanks, Whoever-You-Are.
At right, here’s another photo
from our Marching Band days. We think this was taken on our March,
1985, trip to England. The seven people in front are Sharon Streif,
Anne Lowe, Donna Ernst (‘Edonna’), Ann Jones, Tom Jones,
Roger, and Tina. |
